Talismans of Despair

Falling to the ground
Depression thickens like soiled snow
Whispering, murmuring voices
Crush with their heaviness
The oblivions of hope have gathered
Forgotten memories, terrors of the night
Chilling until the secrets are spoken
And the melted snow
Washed away and dried
